What is Folli-CureTM Therapy?
Folli-Cure is the medical term for Laser Hair Restoration. Folli-Cure is the most advanced form of laser therapy for hair restoration. Folli-Cure therapy is more than a medical term, it is a complete medical protocol (#82567-A) that ensures optimal results and safety for any client/patient using Luminary Industries laser devices. Folli-Cure therapy is exclusive to HALO laser systems and the centers and clinics that posses our world leading devices.
 The Luminary’s HALO EliteTM laser is a true Laser PhotoMedicine device – no inexpensive and ineffective LED’s are used in our devices. Laser light has been shown to stimulate cellular metabolism while dramatically increasing blood supply to targeted areas. This unique combination is necessary to heal or restore damaged hair follicle cells.
Laser therapy has been shown to increase capillary diameter by 54% and increase lymphatic drainage. This increase is crucial to promoting healthy hair growth by bringing essential nutrients into the hair follicle while allowing the follicular cells to remove detrimental waste products such as DHT.
The HALO Elite uses only the highest grade true laser diodes which increase circulation and cellular metabolism. The process of cells absorbing and utilizing light energy is known as photobiomodulation. Hair Growth Cycle and Laser Therapy

| Anagen Phase or Growth Phase. Approximately 85% of all hairs are in the growing phase at any one time. The Halo Elite laser therapy provides energy for cellular health and proper growth which produces stronger, healthier and fuller hair. |
Catagen Phase or Transitional Phase. During the Catagen phase the hair follicle shrinks to about 1/6 of the normal length. The Halo Elite laser therapy can increase the cellular health of the dermal papilla as it breaks away to rest and assist it to be more prepared for the Telogen cycle. Laser therapy stimulates growth of thicker, healthier hair. |
Telogen Phase or Resting Phase. During this time (5-6 weeks) the hair does not grow but stays attached to the follicle while the dermal papilla stays in a resting phase below. Approximately 10-15 percent of all hairs are in this phase at any one time. The Halo Elite laser therapy stimulates the hair root for the new growth cycle. |
